Noah’s Ark and the GDPR data protection regulations 2018

Policy statement

When becoming a member of Noah’s Ark Naturist Swim, and at each renewal, it is a requirement that a membership form is completed by the applicant and, together with the required remittance, submitted to the membership secretary.

These forms are scanned and stored securely in a password protected folder in a Dropbox folder shared with current committee members.

Information is extracted from these forms and entered into a single password protected file in a Dropbox folder shared with current committee members.

This information is used solely for the purposes of club administration and to send regular information of club events and other notices to club members via email.

Anyone not wishing to receive such information should withhold their email address. This may result in not receiving important renewal notices and other information which could include, but not limited to, cancellation of swims.

No information given in application (or renewal) forms will be disclosed to any third party or to any other member without the express permission of the member.

Information stored by the club will be kept for the duration of the individual’s membership and will be deleted one month after the expiry of the membership.
